  Dave, Dave, and Dave founded Daveytrain in 2002, recruited drummer Rod (aka "Dave") Tredgold and began putting choo choo choones together for their debut album "Get on Board". Released late 2004, the album is a colourful mix of "Train's" tracks hard to put in a box. Their first single, RACQ Man reflects the band's tongue-in-cheek "train of thought" adding sax to a frivolous mix of guitars, vocals, and percussion. With the platform already built for their next album, Daveytrain is ready to rock every alternative radio station in Australia, so choo choo choone in and "Get on Board!"

Dave 'Curly' Coghlan (Vocals, Guitar)
Infamous for his neverending supply of 'choone' jokes,this enthusiastic High School Teacher enjoys rocking out with his guitar, teaching, going to the snow and spending time at home. His favourite food is vegemite on toast. He once competed for Queensland in long distance running and from his stories he did pretty well. He is a well liked friend and teacher to many. So why not get on board with and in choo choo choone with Cogzy.

  

 

 
 

Dave 'Larry' King (Lead/Bass Guitar)
 Playing his gold plated bass is his favourite past time. He enjoys eating caviar on toast very much. His inspiration was the original king, Elvis. He loves watching his movies and if ever at a karaoke bar its only Elvis songs for him.

 

 

 
  Dave 'Moe' Sherman (Bass Guitar)
This shy timid little man loves his bass. His favourite food is peanut butter on toast. He likes to stay fairly anonymous so that’s all you’ll get. 		 

 

 
 

Rod 'Dave' Tredgold  (Drums)
Because this man is bald he is rather jealous of the other band members. That curly haired Coghlan especially. He decided to play the drums so he could take his anger out on something other than the other band members. His favourite food is jam on toast.
